  1. Do you induce PVD in all your vitrectomies or on a case by case basis? 22 and developed some that are bothersome to me, looking to get them fixed as I don't want to live my life afraid of the sun. What are the benefits of a PVD?

  3. Hey Mr. Wong! I was just wondering why on your website you compare cataract surgery to floaters risk wise. Isn't the main difference that cataract surgery is performed on the lense, and floaters removement in the vitreous humor which is directly linked to the retina and thus poses greater risks?

  5. I have had eye floaters since age of 15 from approx 1981. I was referred to a consultant in Ealing hospital London who was not as good as I thought because he had no treatment for me. I was attending Ealing hospital eye clinic on and off as far as I remember in the mid to late 80s. The cause of my eye floaters is unknown furhermore I am now 49yrs old and been complaining to my eye doctor in Uxbridge middx whenever I see him for checks he again and again reassures me. I have a eye test on the NHS every two years and if it goes below that then I have to pay out of my own pocket . I have been looking into eye floaters right through 2014//2015 and I am interested in the lazer treatment but I have my worries. There are clinics in London one in London who does this treatment in a private clinic. I think lazer eye treatment for floaters must be met by NHS

  6. +Randall Wong Hi man, i just wanted to know what is the chance that you can go blind from this procedure, and what is the success rate, Also why are my floaters accompanied by starbursts?, you seem a really good eye docter and one who is very experienced, finally what complications can you get from fov and what is the percentage that you will get these?

Would you say it is safe to drive with floaters, thanks for a great video which is comforting for sufferers!

  7. Hello Dr. Wong. If I understand correctly, through the ports the inside fluid is pumped out and new fluid is replaced with that. Is there any chance that this fluid comes out after the surgery through the eye?
